500 Most Influential Muslims : Nik Abdul Aziz at rank of 42
The Kelantan Menteri Besar Tuan Guru Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat was ranked at 42 from 500 most influential muslims worldwide. He is the only Malaysian-Muslims listed in top 50, which means he is the MOST INFLUENTIAL MUSLIM IN MALAYSIA. With the Muslim population in Malaysia around 58% thas is more than 15 million. His influence comes from variety of sources: administrative, political & scholarly. Personally, I agree with that rank. His post as a Menteri Besar nearly 19 years. Most of Malaysian gives full of respect to him. From 450 rungs list, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim listed in the category of political in Malaysia follow by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad.
