1kg ikan kembung
10 stalks ladies’ fingers
2 brinjals (cut into small pieces)
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons palm oil
(B)
8 pcs asam keping
2 stalks daun kesum
2 stalks serai
2 stalks bunga kantan
2 tomatoes
Pounded Ingredients:
6 slices fresh turmeric
1 slice lengkuas
1 stalk serai
4 garlic
8 small onions
1 packet of chilli boh
1 piece belacan
3 buah keras
Method
1. Heat six tablespoons of palm oil and fry pounded ingredients. Add in (B) and 4 cups of water.
2. When boiling, add in brinjals and cook until soft. Add in ladies’ fingers and fish, followed by salt and sugar. Serve with rice.
Serves 5.
