Hentian Titiwangsa which is located on top of the Titiwangsa mountains. Titiwangsa Mountains is a mountain range that forms the backbone of the Malay Peninsula. The range starts in the north in Southern Thailand, running approximately southeast and ends in the south near Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The highest elevation is the 2,183 m (7,162 ft) Gunung Korbu. The range acts as a natural divider, dividing Peninsular Malaysia into East and West Coast regions.Several of the more popular tourist destinations in Malaysia such as Cameron Highlands and Fraser’s Hill are located on the range.

Hentian Titiwangsa is a R&R for East-West Highway, Malaysia. East-West Highway, Federal route 4 is a highway constructed by Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) to shorten the journey from Kota Bharu, Kelantan to northwestern towns and cities of Malaysia such as Alor Star and Penang. Before East-West Highway was built, the journey from Alor Star to Kota Bharu may reach over 1,000 km (– miles), but the highway shortens the distance by about several hundred kilometers. The highway includes Raja Muda Nazrin Bridge which crosses Temenggor Lake, a hydroelectric dam. The East-West Highway is one of the more scenic routes in Peninsular Malaysia, due to its hilly nature. There are even places where road signs are put up to warn motorists of elephants crossing the road.

As figure shown in this post, this cloudy scene will not be seen at most of the time. It can be seen during rainy seasons or wet seasons only especially during monsoons seasons. Normally, monsoons seasons happen from roughly October to March.
