2 pieces of soft white beancurd
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp flour
Oil for deep-frying
3 tbsp dashi
1 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tsp shredded young ginger
1 spring onion, chopped finely
1 tbsp bonito flakes
Method
1. Dip beancurd in flour, then dip in egg, coating evenly. Deep-fry the beancurd in hot oil.
