Tip to re-assemble water tap
One thing that you have to remember is to take out used PTFE tape which stick on your tap track. Clean it so that new when PTFE applied it will sealed the water from inside pipe.
It is because you need to roll a new PTFE on track itself. So, it will stick very nice.
Put the PTFE as much as you feel it will sealed the water. After you reassemble it and it not leak out the water.
