First of all, you must have the most important tool to replace a ceiling fan. It’s a ladder. If don’t have it then get it somewhere else.

Also have you to have some tools to assemble your fan. I got some tools but it not really a correct tools except the test pen. Wrench is pipe work & long nose is more to electronics. But as for me, I still can assemble it. It’s better to a correct tools.

Here I won’t tell you about the way to assemble the fan since it already have in the manual when buy a new fan. Also it may different to each type.
